Connectivity Basics

The Time Tracker IQ app requires internet connection to function. That means you must keep active the Bluetooth link between your phone and your watch.

The connection status icon provides information about the connectivity.
There are four possible status:

Invalid key (orange icon): That means the Bluetooth connection is active but you must link your app.

No connection (red icon): That means the Bluetooth connection between your phone and watch is not active

For troubleshooting information go to the following FAQ topic:

Sincronizing (blinking blue icon): the app is sending and receiving data.

Standby (green icon): the app is waiting for the next synchronization cycle. The app syncs with the website every 10 minutes, but it will be immediate when you start the app, after you save a time entry, or when you force it using the "online sync" menu option (the force option is not available on Fitbit and Garmin Forerunner devices).

Working Offline

You can register your tasks even if your watch is not connected to your mobile.

Of course, only projects and tasks that you previously downloaded to your watch will be available.
The app will store your time entries, and as soon the connection reestablishes it will send the data to the Time Tracker IQ website.
The number of tasks pending transmission are displayed near the connection icon.

Downloading Projects

Most of the time the app will be capable of synchronizing with the website without your intervention. It will happen every 10 minutes, when you start the app, after you save a time entry or when you exit the projects or tasks list.
If necesssary you can force a synchronization. Just open the in-app menu then select the "online sync" option. (this option is not available on Fitbit and Garmin Forerunner devices).

Beware that only active projects, that contain at least one active task will be sent to the watch.
